Lehigh County’s Court of Common Pleas is a general jurisdiction trial court located in the City of Allentown. In 2017, a total of 1115 juvenile cases were reported for every 100,000 people age 10 to adulthood in the jurisdiction of Lehigh County. Of that total, 77% of those proceedings were delinquencies which equaled 863 court cases. Another 23% were dependency cases that accounted for 252 of the juvenile cases.
